Location: Hawaii, USA
The Center on Disability Studies at the University of Hawai‘i cordially invites you to register to the 26th Annual Pacific Rim International Conference on Disabilities on April 12th and 13th, 2010 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. Because of the economic downturn, an extension of proposal submissions until January 15th, we are extending our Early Bird Registration for one week. Our non early bird rates will be in effect at Midnight January 24th.
In the tradition of Pac Rim, the 2010 conference will revisit familiar themes and explore new directions through scholarship, best practice, and international networking. Join us, and continue this extraordinary journey. We know there is something for you at what is considered to be the bridge between East and West.
Additionally, you must not miss the 3rd International Forum on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on April 10th at 11th. We must continue the dialogue on eradicating poverty for persons with disabilities through rights based approaches. We have great workshop leaders and keynotes along with a special track on the Convention and ratification processes. Our co-sponsors include the The Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD), The William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai‘i and the Spark M.
