November Disability Resource Digest available

November 19, 2009

November's Disability Resource Digest (DRD) is now available online, providing you with the latest in links to disability-related information from all over the world.

The issue features profile on the accessibility debate currently going on in Ontario - a political and social process that mirrors what Opening Doors is doing for Manitoba's disability community.

It also includes an article on the improved accessibility of international search engine Google, as well as an insightful opinion piece entitled "You Don't Need Sight to Have Vision" that fights back against neyseyers who are questioning British Prime Ministerial candidate Gordon Brown's ability to lead because of a visual impairment.

Closer to home, the digest also highlights a summary of Canadian social assistance and tax credits from June through September.
