Health professionals and the Wheelchair Services program together play a very important role in meeting the needs of Manitobans who are mobility disadvantaged. Through this partnership the consumer is better served.

To assist Health Professionals who prescribe wheelchairs through the Manitoba Community Wheelchair Program please open The Manitoba Community Wheelchair Program Policy and Procedure Manual. This outlines program policies, eligibility criteria, procedures for prescribing mobility equipment through this program and a detailed listing of the equipment provided through the program.
