December 3rd is International Day of Persons with Disabilities! 

On December 10th, enjoy free admission at the Canadian Human Rights Museum plus performances by 100 Decibels Deaf mime troupe (with Joanna Hawkins, Early Learnings Consultant, SMD Communication Centre for Children) & the SMD All Abilities Dance group.

The observance of International Day of Persons with Disabilities aims to promote an understanding of disability issues which supports the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.  The overall aim is to raise awareness that people with disabilities are vibrant members of society.
