Celebrating 30 Years of Giving!

On March 28, 2017, MTS Volunteers will present assistive technology devices to12 Deaf and Hard of Hearing consumers. Recipients will receive a variety of devices including alarm clocks, door buttons and bed shaker systems that have been adapted for people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, totalling over $2,795 in support. Since 1987, MTS Volunteers has helped 210 SMD consumers by providing them with the technology they need to improve their daily lives.

The MTS Volunteers are a wonderful inspiration through their contributions of community service to various organizations. We appreciate their kind and generous yearly gift to Deaf and hard of hearing Manitobans, " explains Terry Leslie, Manager, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services at SMD.
