If you or someone you know requires a wheelchair due to a long term illness or disability (i.e. require a wheelchair for more than six months) please contact your occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or family doctor who will help direct you though the process and fill out the required forms.

Wheelchair Services provides regular maintenance and repair of loaned wheelchairs at the wheelchair depot in Winnipeg, through house calls by appointment, or through regularly scheduled visits by specially equipped vans.

When your equipment is no longer required it is to be returned to SMD Wheelchair Services. Please call to arrange for pick up of equipment, or instructions on how to return the equipment in person or by mail.
